Town Hall of Veere
The other part of Museum Veere is located in the town hall on the market. This was built between 1474 and 1517 and Veere and the surrounding villages were governed from here. In the building you can still experience the former atmosphere. Historical objects and paintings refer to the rich heyday of the city. For example, you will find portraits of the Orange princes. In the town hall you can take a tour of the drum loft, where the carillon drum is located.

It's the city's jewel: the elaborately designed town hall in the late Gothic style.
The high roof of the sandstone building, built in 1470, is flanked by small, octagonal towers. The imposing town hall is dominated by a slender bell tower, which supports a truly unique piece: a Van den Gheyn carillon with 48 bells. On the ground floor of the town hall is the Vierschaar, formerly the city court, now a small, interesting museum.

The Stadhuis van Veere (Town Hall) is a Gothic building on the market square in Veere (Zeeland). It historically served as a courthouse and is now part of the Veere Museum.
