The view of the Steyregg Bridge and the voestalpine steelworks is one of Linz's most iconic sights. One of the important Danube crossings with cycle paths on both sides next to the car lanes and therefore a good option for a cycle circuit that connects Linz and Steyregg or other nearby destinations. The bridge was opened in 1979 and connects the neighboring community of Steyregg with Linz and is located directly upstream of the Steyregg railway bridge. It is a car bridge with two lanes in each direction and allows traffic coming from the direction of Perg to cross to Linz without taking a detour.
