The palace in Żelmowo was built at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. An eclectic style palace with Art Nouveau elements. The 19th-century façade of the building has been preserved.
The palace was built by the von Dewitz family. At the end of the 19th century, the palace became the property of the Schulz family. During World War I, the wages passed into the hands of the Mach family. Until 1945, the palace belonged to Captain Willibald Mach. At that time, the estate was enlarged to 749 hectares. Until 1996, the palace passed into the hands of the Agricultural Property of the State Treasury. In 2009, a project for the renovation of the palace was created. In 2012, a renovation began, which included the maintenance of the building, as well as the replacement of the roof. After the renovation works are completed, the palace will function as a private residence, and part of it will be converted into a hotel. Around the palace there is a manor park with an area of 5.5 ha
Currently, the palace is fenced and inaccessible to visitors.
