Danube Cycle Path E3: Sigmaringen - Munderkingen
After Sigmaringen, the Danube widens as it flows through a wide basin. On this section there are many baroque monasteries, castles and towns. The Danube finally leaves the Swabian Jura in the town of Scheer, located at the eastern end of the upper Danube valley. In its further course, the Danube Cycle Path passes through Menge with its half-timbered and stately homes and Neufra, known for its historic hanging gardens. This section of the cycle path ends in Munderkingen, which is surrounded by the Danube. There is a beautiful old town with high gabled houses and winding streets to explore.
