This ensemble of buildings (16th and 17th centuries) is the former refuge of the Val Saint-Lambert Abbey.
Built on the banks of the Meuse, the building, which consists of two different bodies, was once the former refuge of the Val Saint-Lambert abbey. It occupies the site of a building with the same function, which must have existed before 1235. The upper part of the building dates from the second half of the sixteenth century and features Renaissance-style decorative elements; The street facade, damaged during World War II, was rebuilt shortly after the end of the conflict. The building downstream was built from 1643 under the abbey of Michel Taxilis. The ground floor is pierced by an arched passage leading to the river.
