    The Irrer Alm in Grünau is a true dream at the time of the narcissus bloom (about mid-May to mid-June)! In addition, there are many other plants that bloom here at the same time as the orchid and the cotton grass. You can immerse yourself in a rich flora and discover new photo opportunities.
    The alpine hut is not managed, the cows, which are kept in harmony with nature, graze in the pasture.
    It's worth making the short hike to the Irrer Alm. Also possible are the circular route around the Sugar Loaf or the hike to the Hochberghaus on the Kasberg.

      Climb to the top of the Sugarloaf Mountain is definitely recommended. At a Steinmandl (small cairn) on Zuckerhutrundweg begins the somewhat arduous but rewarding ascent. At the summit cross you have a fantastic panoramic view. The descent is via a ridge to a forest road and again at a Steinmandl back to the original circular route.

The clearing of this beautiful alpine pasture is still waiting for the daffodils, which we would love to come back to when they are in bloom.
