12.5 km long circular route on field and forest paths with small inclines and wonderful views.

The path runs through the Lauertal between Maßbach and Poppenlauer. Here the view opens up to the Rhön on the hills. A section of the route is the “Wallweg”. From Nüdlingen the pilgrims walk on it to Vierzehnheiligen. On quiet paths it goes through the Ransbachtal with the Ransbachmühle to the Mariengrotte. On forest paths you come to the Lauertal and to Maßbach.

In the crossed villages there are historical sights such as e.g. B. in Maßbach the town hall with a beautifully designed market square, the evangelical church and at the end of the town the Jewish cemetery. In Poppenlauer, in addition to the churches, the local history museum of the market in the backdrop of the former Schrimpf Castle is worth seeing. This can also be visited as part of a group tour by prior arrangement.
