    Dieden is a village in the municipality Oss in the Dutch province North Brabant. It was an independent municipality until 1810. When the Kingdom of Holland was annexed in 1810, Dieden was merged with the municipality of Demen and Langel on behalf of Napoleon Bonaparte, after which the municipality of Dieden, Demen and Langel was created. Dieden was the capital of this municipality. In 1923 this municipality was merged into the municipality of Ravenstein, which in turn was merged into the municipality of Oss on January 1, 2003.
    Dieden was traditionally an independent seigniory and was part of the 'Land van Maas en Waal' that belonged to 'Gelre'.
    The castle in Dieden was demolished around 1875. The remains of this castle are still visible in the landscape, namely the moat, the bridgehead, a cattle shed and part of the coach house. The castle was located west of the village.

      - Stella Polaris is a round stone scaffolding mill built in 1865.
      - The Sint-Laurentiuskerk dates from the 12th and early 13th century and is located on the Maasdijk. It has a tuff stone one-aisled Romanesque nave from the 2nd half of the 12th century. When the 15th-century tower was built, the west facade of the church was modified. The nave was also raised and provided with buttresses and pointed arch windows. A higher choir and a northern side house were also built, which were demolished in the 18th century. There are cross vaults in the tower hall and next to the tower is a striking stair tower. Tufa stone has been incorporated into the tower, which comes from the former Romanesque west facade of the church. In 1614 the church came into use by the Reformed, whereupon the Catholics went to church in Dementer. That has remained the case, even after the Reformed people decommissioned the church.
