It is a short journey along a paved road that treasures a great history as it is attributed an antiquity that dates back to Roman times. It is formed by a careful network of stones nailed to the ground as a firm that would ensure the adherence of the cavalry, since it is located on an old Roman road.
The curious thing is that it is in the middle of nowhere and perhaps at some point it was much larger than what we can now enjoy, because it only measures a couple of hundred meters.
In any case, it is a vestige of the past that is well worth observing, preserving and stepping on, since very relevant historical events took place on those same stones, such as the battle of Las Navas de Tolosa that took place in these places back in 1212.
