The Renningen Nature Theater is a registered non-profit organization; it is located on the outskirts of Renningen. Two plays are staged every year, which are then performed in the summer months (June to August), one play for adults and one for the whole family. The variety is great; from fairytale productions, such as Snow White, to adventures à la Robin Hood. Every year around 10,000 - 11,000 theater fans attend the performances; 24 to 26 performances take place per season.
The club still has a "real" natural stage; neither the 35 m wide and 15 m deep stage nor the auditorium have a roof. The auditorium offers 748 numbered seats; with the help of substitute benches, up to 1000 spectators can be accommodated at a performance.
The natural theater currently has around 180 members. The actors are amateurs and volunteer. Professional directors ensure a sophisticated, exciting production, and they are supported by professionals from the fields of choreography, music, costume design and scenery painting.
