Birthplace of the Hunsrück robber Johannes Bückler called “Schinderhannes”. Born probably in the fall of 1779, probably here in this little house directly on the Mühlbach in Miehlen im Taunus (not definitely documented), executed on the guillotine on November 21, 1803 in Mainz, together with 19 of his cronies.
