The Molen van 't Veld originates from Elsum, but has been in Ten Aard since 1992. In this mill with a semi-open base you will become acquainted with the secrets with which the miller has been traveling from grain to flour for centuries.

There is a visitor center in the mill belt with modern furnishings and interactive elements. You will learn everything about the story from grain to flour and a comparison will be made between the past and present. You can take a break around the mill or have a nice picnic at the tables and benches.

Molen van ’t Veld

The Molen van 't Veld is a standard mill with a semi-open base that is located in the city of Geel and served as a corn mill.

The mill was built in 1796 and was initially located in Heist-op-den-Berg. In 1823, however, it was moved to Elsum, where it stood on the road to Larum. The last miller-owner was Karel van de Weyer, who restored it in 1964 and operated it regularly until 1987. After his death, the mill was neglected and threatened to fall into disrepair. However, it was demolished and rebuilt in 1993 west of Ten Aard. The mill stands on a mill belt that is four meters high.
