This first of the three labyrinths is located near the center of Hofkirchen, near the "Alte Bassena". This square has always been a meeting and attraction point, a meeting place. A planted labyrinth was created to the north of the old tree population and with the involvement and co-design of the square.

Starting from a triangle, the shape of a linden leaf or a heart (“place for warm encounters”) develops here. The triangular shape also indicates the three labyrinths.

The overall design of the square in front of the Bassena with a natural stone arena offers a space for encounters of all kinds
On a clear day, the view stretches as far as the Alps.

The design by Andreas Feigl and the ingenious implementation by Franz Wimmer (Mühlberger company) have led to this wonderful result. Many thanks to all community citizens who provided flowers, herbs and shrubs from their gardens for the labyrinth and planted them themselves and who still help us tirelessly so that this labyrinth pleases the eyes, nose, palate and heart.
