The peak of Néouvielle is a superb summit which is located in the nature reserve of the same name. Culminating at 3,091 meters above sea level, it offers a series of breathtaking panoramas over the Pyrenees and the surrounding lakes.
The last meters of the climb are on a scree, stay vigilant to stay on the path.

The milestones reach the block niches installed at the head of the circus, below the Brecha de Chausenque. The path heads south and completes the ascent to the top. At the end of the season it is possible to find some residual snow before the final climb. The normal entrance to the summit follows a chimney channel on the south face that requires the use of hands but without ice it does not present any difficulty. The summit is small and steep but has great views.
