Ideal for big and small children!

With the nature and culture trail we want to inspire children and adults for the beauty and diversity of nature.

The idea came up in summer 2011. The nature trail complements the nature-oriented concept of our educational work. We were able to implement and implement Simone Herrendörfer's ideas, with the help of Franz-Josef Scherer and the forest cooperative, who provided us with a suitable piece of forest. The project is to be completed and opened in spring 2013 with an inauguration ceremony. Many hard-working helpers have already created beautiful works of art and placed them in suitable places in the forest.

Highlights of the hike include the wet biotope, a pool created by a grenade impact on April 9, 1945, or a special hammock. We hope that the 6.3 km long walking path will have many visitors who can get excited about what God has put in front of us. If we can get our kids excited about nature, it will last a lifetime. Especially nowadays, when many children prefer to play computer games rather than play outside, this is all the more important and a great challenge.

If you take a look at all the stops on our way, you will not only have a lot of fun and adventures, but also learn a lot about animals, plants and the history of Hünsborn.
