The poor house, built from parts of the city wall in 1839, has been an inviting place to visit since 1995 as an originally furnished restaurant.

In the poor parlor with converted beds, old kitchen utensils and a large living room table, but also in the vault with the two large glass gates or in the flower-filled inner courtyard at the foot of the stork tower, hearty down-to-earth dishes from schnitzel to pikeperch are offered.

The dishes are also available in smaller portions and of course there is also a seasonal menu with fresh products from the region.
