The castle of Udine is one of the main monuments of the city and is located on top of a hill in the historic center, at 138 m a.s.l. It is home to the civic museums, which include an art gallery, the Archaeological and Numismatic Museum, the Museum of the Risorgimento, the Gallery of Drawings and Prints, the Friulian Museum of Photography.
