In this Collection, we present three charming Tours. Aside from focusing on water, which features in all the routes, each of the Tours has its own interesting theme. Two of the rides are circulars, whilst one takes you from Hohenkammer to Augsburg (or vice-versa). These adventures all have one thing in common – wonderful highlights and crystal-clear waters that wind through Upper Bavarian nature, just like you will on your bike!
You cycle through magnificent landscapes where, centuries ago, shepherds would have herded their cattle long distances. On the road between Hohenkammer and Augsburg, you find many highlights as well as interesting information boards on the history of cattle driving in the region.
The wonderful castle and beer gardens Tour, which starts and ends in Erpfting, combines culture and fun. Over 45 kilometres (28 miles), you immerse yourself in the region’s exciting history. As you ride, you can be absolutely sure of one thing – you won’t die of thirst on this bike Tour!
The northern Lechrain Tour takes you along the banks of the River Lech. You cycle 50 kilometres (30 miles) from Landsberg, past barrages and wide fields that overlook the water, and to enchanted castle ruins.
By the way: The Water-Cycle Paths help you to explore the area on your doorstep in a totally sustainable way. You can easily reach the starting points by public transport. This means you can start your bike Tour totally relaxed, without having to travel long distances and look for a parking space.
