    The windmill De Meenkmolen dates back to 1851. She inherited her name from the nearby Meenk farm.
    About 30 years after their construction, they were extended by a sawmill and a steam engine. These enhancements gave way to more advanced technologies over the years. The mill was preserved and was restored twice in the late 20th century.
    Since 1990, the mill has been operating again and again and grinding exclusively with wind power.

                                                  The Bataaf grain mill, Bataafseweg 20, Winterswijk, the Netherlands, was built in 1801 and was in operation until 1958. The mill owes its name to the 'Bataafse Republiek'. The mill was founded by the Protestant Church, in the sense that it could use the proceeds to pay the salaries of its pastors. From 1854 the te Lintum family took the mill into operation.

                                                  The mill is a mountain mill with a wooden octagon with planking, which was covered with tar paper. The Dekker leading edge with Ten Have flaps. The mill had two grinding gears. In 1964 the wings and the gears were removed. After that the mill was used as a warehouse and was embedded between two silos of the cattle feed company te Lintum. The roof was rolled by a roller ring with iron rollers in a roller ring.

                                                  In the mill hill under the mill there is now a room set up for exhibitions, among others about the large farmers (the mayors) of Winterswijk.
