The Sörve Lighthouse, on the southern tip of the Sworbe Peninsula, is the second oldest in Estonia after the Kõpu Lighthouse. Originally built as a wooden structure in 1646, it went through several reconstructions, including a stone construction in 1650 and an elevation in 1807. Destroyed in World War II, it was rebuilt in its current reinforced concrete form in 1960.
