    The Raxkirchlein was built in 1936 and is located at the foot of the Heukuppe, not far from the Karl-Ludwig-Haus on the Rax. It is now not only a memorial, but also popular as a wedding location for mountaineers.

It was built to commemorate mountain climbers injured in the mountains under the direction of the speleologist and president of the Austrian Tourist Club (ÖTK) Domprälat Alois Wildenauer.
