    A very nice excursion destination with fantastic panoramic views of the Black Forest. The Teufelsmühle forest inn is a good place to stop for refreshments. A launching point for hang gliders and paragliders.

        If you are hungry / thirsty, you should do something about it.
        However, there are no culinary recommendations to be made here. Schnitzel tried and found mediocre at a significantly too high price. The Vespers (house slaughter platter / sausage salad) looked like a better price-performance ratio. (June 2017)
        Note 2020: Apparently highlights have now been merged here ... the text above concerns the tavern. The view from the lookout tower is great and highly recommended.

                From the Devil's Mill, you have a breathtaking view! The Rhine plain stretches out before you, the Vosges Mountains tower behind you, and in the distance, you can even see the Odenwald forest. Simply magnificent! While the viewpoint is busy on nice days, a break is still worthwhile.

                You can stop for a bite to eat at the restaurant very close to the tower. What more could a hiker want? :)

                        The Teufelsmühle (908.1 m above sea level)[1] is a mountain south of Loffenau in the Northern Black Forest. It lies between the valleys of the Murg to the west and the Alb to the east. The Alb rises near the eastern flank of the mountain (Albursprung), before reaching Bad Herrenalb a few kilometers further north. The border between the municipalities of Gernsbach in the Murg valley and Loffenau, both of which belong to the Rastatt district of Baden-Württemberg, runs across the summit plateau of the Teufelsmühle.
