St. Mary in Kahleby is a secluded church between the villages of Füsing and Schaalby. It once belonged to the monastery Guldenholm on the Langsee. Then the pulpit of 1673 stands out, on the basis of which one can gain a nice insight into the history of the church with the help of the donor names. For example, Pastor Rodbertus, one of the donors, fell victim to, for example, the wars of the time.
The inscription was in Low German, until the 17th century normal church language.
A special treasure of the church is the Johann-Daniel-Busch-organ of 1784, which was excellently restored ten years ago and is heard in the church services and several concerts a year.
