Here on the slope of Kunterberg to Stålmyren, a little west of Nästjärn there was a farm in the 17th and early 18th century called Långsveden. Today only remnants of an old foundation, stone walls and cairns remind of the existence of the former homestead. Långsveden is mentioned in writing for the first time in 1604 and since the beginning of the 18th century the farm has been vacant. Many different people have been owners over time, but some of them have had their economic problems. In recent years, only poor people lived in Långsveden. The buildings were probably simple and the houses small. The acreage then belonged to miners Glamsarvet and Gamia Berget, who farmed here.
