From the outside, the Rott monastery church looks simple. But if you go inside, you will be surprised by a huge Rococo decor. The interior decoration was created at the beginning of the 18th century as a work group of the most important artists of the southern German Rococo. It was really a very interesting, albeit hot, day in Rott in the crypt of Franz Josef Strauss, but Rott is also a very interesting place otherwise.

That reminded me of Salem Affenberg on Lake Constance, when I saw more storks for the first time than ever before
