The Hahnenbrunnen volunteer shelter is open every day during the months of July and August, and on request the rest of the year (please fill in the contact form available on the website to ensure availability).
A bar service is available but no meals are served. However, the shelter provides access to a kitchen where you can prepare your own meals.

The refuge is open every weekend from the mid of April. We got there when it was closed, but you are able to use the terrain. There are some tables where you can have a seat. Thereby very peaceful at night. It was the only place where we spotted some wildlife. Unfortunately not identifiable (a fox?).
