It is in the first half of the fifteenth century that was built on the estate the current manor.
In this "castle of Vitanval" Messire Guyon du Voisin had the honor to host for a few hours, in 1563, the Queen-mother Catherine de Médecis and her son, the young king Charles IX at the end of the siege which allowed to resume Le Havre to the English. In 1877, there still remained a part of the ditches quarter circle, the last vestiges of the barnyard.
