The former Moserhof mill in Oberprechtal was moved to the Höllsteig site near the rope factory in 2008. The mill with living area is in the same condition as it was at the end of the 18th century, with its original furnishings with a smoke kitchen, the shoemaker's workshop from 1736 on the ground floor and the barrel maker A. Winterhalter's keblerei on the top floor, as it was until the early 20th century. was operated at the exit of the Löffeltal.
The mill with a grinding and a tanning gear is powered by an overshot water wheel. Since 2005, there has been a faithfully reconstructed and functioning rope factory here on the Höllsteig from the 18th century. A small workshop is housed in the main building, and an exhibition room in the attic offers space for equipment and information boards.
