Since 1474 the estate belonged to the Rautter family, who also owned an estate in Drogosze. The Grand Master of the Order granted it to the mercenary knight Niklaus Rautter, who came from Austria, for his services. The estate belonged to the family until 1945 and the last owner lived to the age of 95 and died in New York in 1994. The palace was built in the Roccoco style in 1997 by Christop Ludwig Rautten. In 1807 the palace was occupied and destroyed by Napoleon's troops. After World War II the palace was occupied by the Territorial Defense Forces and then the Agrokompleks. Since 2001 the palace has been deserted and slowly devastated. In 2003 the palace was acquired by Prof. Eike Hemken from Bremen with the idea of opening a dental clinic, hotel and training center, but the idea was not implemented. Currently the palace has partially collapsed and is overgrown by forest. The photos give an impression of the remains.
