The temple complex in the village of Kibol is an example of provincial temple architecture of the Vladimir region, belonging to the late Baroque. The complex includes two churches: the winter church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker (1750) and the summer church of Saints Florus and Laurus (1808). Only fragments of paintings dating back to the 19th century, executed in the academic tradition, have survived to this day. They decorate the main part of the temple, the refectory and the bell tower. In the paintings, one can discern images of Christ, the apostles and saints, as well as plant ornamentation characteristic of that time.
