Located directly near the Baltic Sea, just before the dike of the Baltic Sea resort of Wustrow, lies the "Fischländer Kurwald" (Fishland Spa Forest). As a new meeting place, the facility serves as a focal point for active recreation, leisure activities, and the enjoyment of nature for all ages. On approximately 2.3 hectares, barrier-free facilities for therapeutic exercises, such as sports and fitness equipment, exciting climbing installations for younger visitors, calisthenics facilities, and numerous places to relax and enjoy the outdoors, are available. A special experience for families with children is discovering the Klabautermann (Kladimir) figures on the Legendary Trail in the forest, who have interesting stories to tell about the former fishing and seafaring town of Wustrow. With respect for the natural environment, great emphasis was placed on sustainable and environmentally friendly implementation. Numerous trees were replanted, ditches were renaturalized, and deadwood was left in the forest as part of the life cycle.
