The village of Krasnoye is located two kilometers from Yuryev-Polsky. The village is very ancient. In the second half of the 14th century, it belonged to the Grand Duke of Moscow Dmitry Ivanovich Donskoy (1350-1389). In 1389, he bequeathed the village of Krasnoye to his eldest son Vasily Dmitrievich (1371-1425).
