The Herrenmühle Museum in Hammelburg is dedicated entirely to the question of “bread and wine” with exciting exhibits, vivid productions and interactive stations - after all, the museum is housed in a former grain mill and Hammelburg is rightly considered the oldest wine town in Franconia. The three-story exhibition tells all sorts of facts and stories about viticulture, everyday life in a mill and the importance of bread and wine. Thanks to the “mouse stations”, visiting the museum is exciting for the whole family.

After visiting the museum, the beautiful outdoor area on the Franconian Saale, with a view of the old town monastery and Saaleck Castle, invites you to linger.
