The ancient village of Kudinovo is located in the Bogorodsky urban district, several kilometers from the Elektrougli station. The surviving stone Church of the Intercession of the Holy Mother of God was built in 1820-1835 under the owner Prince Yu. V. Dolgorukov, and the first wooden church was erected here two hundred years earlier by the Duma clerk Fyodor Likhachev. The long-lived Kudinovo priest Eremey Afanasyevich, who served in the Intercession Church in the 17th century, became the prototype of the legendary hero of folk songs, "Priest Yemelya". In the late 19th - early 20th centuries, the village was owned by the offspring of the merchant family of Karneevs - the owners of the famous Shabolovsky mead brewery in Moscow.
