    From the terrace near the Schlossbrücke, there is a good view of the Old Town below. The tower of the Frauenkirche, the city's main Protestant parish church, stands out from the sea of roofs. It is clearly visible how the square lower floors are topped by octagonal upper floors (with a gallery at the very top). These, in turn, are crowned by a roof structure consisting of a dome and a lantern.
