On the site of a previous building that was demolished in 1816, the old town hall was built in the middle of the town according to plans by the architect Weis from Karlsruhe. The two-story building has five axes facing the square and is covered by a hipped roof. The entrance with two round arches made of sandstone is also on this side. The corners of the building are also visually highlighted with sandstone. A ridge turret with a bell and clock sits on the roof ridge. On the front side of the first floor there is a balcony in the middle that rests on heavy consoles. On the street side there is a round-arched cellar entrance
