I'm not a bookworm, so I don't know whether Osnabrück has to be praised for its bookshops. But what I do know is that every year in May, Osnabrück hosts two great festival weeks, called May Week, with an excellent program (free live music on several stages (professional or amateurs)), stands with regional and national food and drinks and much more.
The annual Christmas market is just as wonderful.
And outside of these events, Osnabrück is always worth a trip.
Cycling in the Osnabrück region around Osnabrück is not that easy due to the hilly Teutoburg Forest, but it is still easy to manage.
