A wonderful viewpoint with a beautiful panoramic summit cross located between the Wilder and Zahmer Kaiser. The Feldberg (1813 m) invites you to linger and marvel. Panoramic views as far as the Chiemgau.

The climb from the Griesner Alm can be challenging, but the mountain scenery at the summit makes up for all the previous effort.

The Feldberg (1,813 m) is a panoramic peak in the Kaiser Mountains in Tyrol, located between the Stripsenjochhaus and the Kaisertal valley. It forms the highest point of the gentle ridge that extends east of the Stripsenjoch and offers impressive panoramic views of the Wilder Kaiser with its steep rock faces, as well as the Zahmer Kaiser opposite.

The ascent to the Feldberg usually starts from the Stripsenjochhaus and takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. The trail leads along the scenic ridge, which is one of the most scenic high-altitude trails in the range. Despite its moderate elevation, the Feldberg is a worthwhile destination for hikers who want to enjoy peace, expansive views, and the impressive panorama of the Kaiser Mountains.
