The Church of St. Bishop Stanislovas, located in the town of Meškuičiai, is 1.4 km southeast of the Šiauliai – Joniškis road. It stands between the right tributaries Tautinis and Voverkis.

A wooden church was built in Meškuičiai in 1677 under the care of Šiauliai parish priest Liauksminas. It was the second largest church in Šiauliai parish. In 1681 a plot of 4 voloks was donated for the church. The bishop handed them over to the Šiauliai pastor. Derelict church was built in 1792. In the 19th In the 19th century (until 1863) there was a parish school here. The parish was founded in 1844. In 1857 the church was essentially renovated and decorated.

In 1893 the residents asked the Vilnius governor general for permission to build a brick church. The government has only allowed to build a wooden church. The parishioners did not want such a church. In the period from 1896 to 1899 the government's permission was not needed for the construction of churches, so in 1897 the current brick church was built (this was done by the parish priest Kazimieras Gaudesius). Bishop Pranciškus Karevičius consecrated the church in 1950. After World War II, processions of believers went from Meškuičiai to the Hill of Crosses (6 km long route).
