Here is the large parking lot and the starting point of De Wissen. That is the fairly large visitor center that forms the main entrance gate to the Maasvallei River Park, offers all possible information about the tourist offer in Dilsen-Stokkem and serves as a starting point for several trips. There is also a brasserie, there is usually an exhibition and there is an educational pond garden and park. Finally, you will also find the whisper boats here if you want to do that with your children. The parking lot is spacious, but there are still some if you would like to take a walk in, say, the Negenoord-Kerkeweerd nature reserve. The advantage is that you will also find a pack of information boards at the parking lot so that you can plan your route (the maps are also available outside) and you will be in the nature reserve in no time.
