    Parish of St. Mary Magdalene in Stonawa - a Roman Catholic parish located in Stonawa, in the Moravian-Silesian region in the Czech Republic. It belongs to the Karviná deanery of the Ostrava-Opava diocese.
    The parish was founded in the 14th or in the first half of the 15th century. It was mentioned in the list of St. Pietrz, drawn up by the archdeacon of Opole, Mikołaj Wolff in 1447, among other parishes of the archipresbyterate (deanery) in Cieszyn under the name Stinavia. Based on the amount of the fee in that report, the number of parishioners at that time (in all subordinate villages) was estimated at 90.
    During the Reformation, the church was taken over by Evangelicals. On March 26, 1654, it was taken from them by a special commission. Then Stonawa was a branch of the parish in Karwina.
    The present parish church, built in the neo-Gothic style and consecrated in 1910, is a "pearl" of sacral architecture in the region. It regularly hosts organ concerts and various other religious and cultural celebrations, such as the well-known parish fair in the entire area of Cieszyn Silesia (also on the Polish side of the border). It always falls on the next Sunday around the liturgical feast of St. Mary Magdalene (July 22). Services that take place in the church unite Catholics of 2 nationalities: Czech and Polish. Masses Sunday services are held in 2 languages alternately: Polish and Czech.
    In the nearby cemetery there is a grave of 20 people who died during the battle for Stonawa on January 26, 1919.
