Cárn Bàn Mòr is a high point along the broad plateau of the Móine Mhor, ('Great Moss' in English). It's somewhat overshadowed in terms of height and scenic clout by its Munro neighbour Sgòr Gaoith. Nevertheless, it stands tall and proud at the head of Coire Fernagan and is often visited by hikers on their way to Sgòr Gaoith or to Mullach Clach a'Blair to the south.

Easy track up to the top, beautiful view looking down to the loch especially when you have a bit of thick snow along the edge but watch yourself near as can be dangerous for slips or snow edge giving way.
