Kelenteng See Hin Kiong Temple is a Chinese place of worship in West Sumatra. The influx of Chinese immigrants to Padang resulted in the need for a temple.
In 1841, the Kwan Im Teng temple was built but only a few years later the temple burnt down to ashes. Thus in 1861, the construction of Kelenteng See Hin Kiong Temple was carried out. In 2009, the temple was again destroyed, this time by the big earthquake. The temple was rebuilt in a place not far from the previous location and inaugurated in March 2013.
