The issues is a piece of land on a plateau between Niederstetten and Wildentierbach.
It had no owner until 1960. The municipalities of Niederstetten, Wermutshausen, Wildentierbach and Oberstetten held the rights to the Huth.
The soil was not suitable for agriculture and the yield was insufficient for meadows.
The ownership structure probably dates back to Celtic times.
From the Celtic Viereckschanze there was a wide aisle (still today) that led to the Hefte.
There have been disputes over the centuries regarding the corridor.
For example, the Wildentierbach wanted to convert part of it to farmland.
The Niederstetten prince Melchior von Rosenberg then burned down the village of Wildentierbach and the church in 1509.

The hallway was early connected by forest to the Heftenwald near Lichtel.

In July 1745 a significant Hungarian troop corps camped in Gebsattel and Wildenthierbach (Hefte).
The cantoning costs in Geslau alone made: 2167 fl.
Then (for 4 days) the following had to be delivered: 6984 portions of bread, 11775 portions of oats, 13784 portions of hay.

After a long storage of a large contingent of French troops, the Wildentierbach farmers complained to the authorities that all their cattle had been confiscated and driven away.
