The Alster Pavilion is a striking building in Hamburg, in which there was a traditional café before the current restaurant business. The Alster Pavilion is located on Jungfernstieg, a promenade along the Inner Alster.
The current sixth semicircular building with a flat roof was built in 1952–1953 according to plans by the architect Ferdinand Streb on the preserved basement and converted in 1992–1994.
