The educational trail of Mūšas tyrelios is located in an exceptional and valuable natural area - the Mūšas tyrelios telemological reserve, which is included in the Žagarė regional park as an "island" - without a direct connection to the rest of the park's territory. This unique natural complex of Northern Lithuania consists of a high bog, an intermediate bog, a low bog, peatlands and wet forests. In the southern part of the swamp, the rivers Mūša and Juodupis begin, in the eastern part there is a natural Miknaičiai lake and many small lakes. The reserve is included in the list of territories of the NATURA 2000 network.
