The (new) Barmer Hütte has been extensively renovated in recent years by the DAV sections Barmen and Speyer. However, the rustic charm of the hut has not been changed. The South Tyrolean innkeepers round off the still quite original hut life.

Definitely worth a visit!
The Barmer Hütte is also a great starting point for beautiful tours, such as: Lenkstein, Große Ohrenspitze, Barmer Spitze and not to forget the Hochgall through the Hochgallrinne (for which you really have to be an alpinist). It is also a stopover on the Riesenferner tour and the Skyline 360 East Tyrol.
