A former mountain pasture dating from 1844, this magnificent chalet was transformed into a refuge and restaurant by Raymond Martinatto in the 1960s.
Since 1987 Florence and Robert Martinatto have been welcoming tourists and locals to their establishment from May to October.
With a capacity of 50 beds in dormitories and a large interior room, it is an ideal place and appreciated by the people of the Pays du Mont-Blanc for the organization of banquets and birthday parties.
Located in the town of Sallanches, the refuge of Mayères backed by the Aravis range enjoys a unique panorama of the Mont-Blanc range.
