      The village of William the Conqueror is a group of historic buildings located in Dives-sur-Mer, Normandy. It is a former coaching inn dating from the 15th century, which was transformed into an inn and decorated by an art collector named Le Rémois at the end of the 19th century. Le Rémois wanted to pay homage to William the Conqueror, the famous Duke of Normandy who conquered England in 1066. He installed wood sculptures, statues, busts and a fresco inspired by the Bayeux tapestry in the three village course.

        The Village Guillaume le Conquérant is a former post station on the coastal route from Caen to Rouen. The buildings date back to the end of the 15th century. The owner, M Le Rémois, renovates the Norman buildings with wood carvings in the style of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. In addition he buys statues, vases and busts of the 17th and 18th century, which he sets up in the courtyard.
        Today, the buildings include the Office de Tourisme.
