    Curious history: the "Franzosenviertel" in Haidhausen was created from 1871, after the victory over France in the short war of 1870/71, in the so-called Wilhelminian era.       Pariser Platz is in the middle of Munich - Haidhausen. Wörthstrasse and Orleansstrasse, Pariserstrasse, Sedanstrasse and Weißenburger Strasse meet here.
